The video shows the artists and their sketches in pencil, paint and one sketch on an Ipad! A few of the artists share their tools.

Zoro Garden, Balboa Park

Zoro Garden is a 6-acre sunken garden within Balboa Park in San Diego, California. During the 1935-36 California Pacific International Exposition it was the site of the Zoro Garden Nudist Colony, which featured mostly-nude performers rather than practicing nudists. It is now planted as a butterfly garden.

House of Scotland, International Cottages, Balboa Park, San Diego

Today I met with Carol and a few other sketchers at the International Cottages in Balboa Park. This is my sketch of the House of Scotland and a group picture.

International Cottages, Balboa Park

Some of us were sketching in Balboa Park at the International Cottages (Houses of Hospitality) today.

I am always a little self conscious about what my eye tells me it wants to draw.  All around me bloom flowers, trees, and (duh) cottages that represent the different nations and their communities in San Diego.

I draw signs.  Did I mention that?

This would be the sign I drew today.
