Water Conservation Garden

The Water Conservation Garden in El Cajon was our meeting spot for the San Diego Urban Sketching event on June 23, 2018. Dominique Eichi gave us a free demo and we sketched on our own for 2 hours. We got our 2.25 inch San Diego Urban Sketchers buttons today! Requested and designed by Renata. I have 49 of them and will have them available at $.60 each. (cost) They are 2.25 inches. I expect the t-shirts to arrive tomorrow, Friday, June 22nd. I will notify you individually. If you didn't get a shirt you can wear a button!

Sikes Adobe Historic Farmstead June 10, 2018

The San Diego Chapter met at Sikes Adobe Historic Farmstead and Farmers Market in Escondido. Many of the artists used the Direct Watercolor Method and their work can be seen in this video.

Folk Music Festival at Old Poway Park

Found myself in Poway today and decided to check out Old Poway Park after seeing the directional sign while driving. There happened to be a folk music festival going on, so I sat for a bit and sketched. Good practice. :) Kim Cruz
