Pizza Studio

The Pizza Studio is located in The Spreckels Building in the Gaslamp area of San Diego, California. The building which opened in 1912, was constructed to commemorate the opening of the Panama Canal. This was the location of the Meetup on July 19, 2014.

 



Buena Creek Gardens, San Marcos, Ca

The Buena Creek Gardens is a nursery in San Marcos. They have beautiful garden décor as well as many paths and garden settings to browse through. It is a very lush, green and shady place to stroll and select plants and flowers for your garden. They specialize in unique and uncommon plants. This was the location of the San Diego Urban Sketchers Meetup on Sunday, June 8, 2014.

San Deigo Central Library

The San Diego Urban Sketchers met at the San Diego County Library today for a morning of sketching inside and outside the library.

Rendezvous in Poway

The Urban Sketchers were at Old Poway Park today to meet with Cowboys, Buckaroos and Civil War soldiers.

Spreckels Organ Pavilion, Balboa Park

 

The San Diego Urban Sketchers Meetup group got together at Balboa Park for an afternoon of sketching. We started out in the main plaza which is surrounded by 3 museums and 2 restaurants. We moved over to the Spreckels Organ Pavilion to enjoy the performance at 2 pm. The Spreckels Organ is one of the world's largest outdoor pipe organs, it was donated to the City of San Diego in 1914 for the Panama-California Exposition.
