Spreckels Organ Pavilion, Balboa Park

 

The San Diego Urban Sketchers Meetup group got together at Balboa Park for an afternoon of sketching. We started out in the main plaza which is surrounded by 3 museums and 2 restaurants. We moved over to the Spreckels Organ Pavilion to enjoy the performance at 2 pm. The Spreckels Organ is one of the world's largest outdoor pipe organs, it was donated to the City of San Diego in 1914 for the Panama-California Exposition.

Windansea, La Jolla

The San Diego Urban Sketchers met up with the San Diego Plein Air painters to paint and sketch the cliffs and ocean at Windansea in La Jolla, California. There were so many colors in the ocean today.. it was fun to paint there.
