The Marston House was built in 1905 and is one of California's finest examples of the Arts and Crafts movement. The San Diego Urban Sketchers visited this historic landmark on March 31, 2018. The video shows the artists and their sketches in pencil, paint and one sketch on an Ipad! A few of the artists share their tools.

The San Diego Plein Air Painters Meetup Group invited the San Diego Urban Sketchers to participate in an art show at the Rancho Penasquitos Library during the month of March. The San Diego Urban Sketchers sketched in and outside of the library and Tricia De Luna gave a painting demo. This video was compiled from clips taken at the reception on March 17, 2018. There were 2 walls of framed artwork as well as a display case with unframed artwork and sketchbooks.

Banner Design by Mike Mannis
Our banner was designed by Mike Mannis (one of our original Urban Sketchers) in 2012. I added the text Celebrating 5 Years in 2018. Mike has done a lot of work for us including our YouTube Intro which you can view on this video https://youtu.be/LBUcw7LDyF8 I created from our event at Mission Trails in February.
