Sketching at the Opera

A few weeks ago I was invited to sketch at the opera. This was not a San Diego Urban Sketcher Event but many of us were in attendance, invited by friends or other groups. Little Italy: Different Approaches

It's always interesting to me to see how everyone interprets a scene, what kinds of marks they make, what catches their interest, how they 'show the world, one drawing at a time.' Since we are enjoying some rain here in San Diego this weekend, I stayed in and jotted down a few reflections on my different approaches to the sketches I did last Sunday at our meetup in Little Italy.
