The Alley Art Festival in Vista, September 13, 2014

I have been made aware of an event the San Diego Urban Sketchers might be interested in. I will not attend due to a Los Angeles Museum art "field trip" I will be on. Here is the Information: The Alley Arts Festival in Vista will be held on Saturday, September 13th. There are lots of activities planned in Vista’s historic downtown, so there would be a variety of things/people/activities to sketch. One of our Urban Sketchers, Kim Cruz will have a booth with her husband. More details about the festival follow below.

This isn’t your normal art walk.
This is a celebration of creativity found
off the beaten path.
The inaugural Alley Art Festival
will be an interactive art and culture experience,
featuring: slam poetry, graffiti,
urban art, steampunk, cosplay contest,
“Alley Art Man” sculpture installation, "hands on" art,
and the chance for everyone to contribute
to a live alley art mural painting.
This is a free event for guests of all ages.
