Meet outside the restaurant on the walkway between Mitch's and H&M Landing. Located on San Diego Bay, in the historic fishing neighborhood of Point Loma. We will have a visitor from England! Mick is a member of Oxford Urban Sketchers and has asked to join us near his hotel. Please help me in welcoming Mick and his wife to San Diego. The parking lot in the photo is a pay lot, but there is free parking around the corner on Harbor Drive or on the side streets off the other side of Scott Street.

Shelter Island Event is Cancelled
The San Diego Urban Sketcher event at Shelter Island on April 1st has been cancelled due to the Schooner Cup 2017. Although the race begins at 11:30 we expect parking to be limited.
This is an excerpt from the The Log, California's Boating and Fishing News site: "Guests viewing the regatta from Shelter Island do not have to register. Organizers said spectators should arrive by 11:15 a.m. on April 1. Schooners will begin the regatta from Shelter Island in groups starting at 11:30 a.m. and race throughout San Diego Bay before returning back to Shelter Island for their respective finish within two to three hours."
If you are interested in drawing with others I want to encourage you to join the San Diego Plein Air Painters. They have a meetup planned at 8:30. Their event information is here: https://www.meetup.com/painter-86/events/238549418/
